CyberConnect2 teases “shocking project” announcement due at year’s end

Matsuyama's reckless, CyberConnect2 PR guy saddened.

Hiroshi Matsuyama

What we’re assuming is that big new project from CyberConnect2 will be announced around the end of the year, company president Hiroshi Matsuyama said at Machi Asobi this weekend.

“It should be around the end of the year that we can announce a shocking project from our company,” Matsuyama said.

CyberConnect2’s public relations guy apparently looked irked when Matsuyama said this. Based on that reaction, it’s easy to guess that the timing to make that statement was premature and that the announcement could very likely be pushed back to beyond that end-of-year time frame. But for now, that’s all we have.
