The Idolmaster PS4 has only just begun development

Producer promises "a new Idolmaster."

The Idolmaster: One For All

Development on the new Idolmaster game for PlayStation 4 has “only just begun,” producer Yozo Sakagami said during a Tokyo Game Show interview.

The PlayStation 4 game will be a completely new title, rather than an extension of PlayStation 3’s The Idolmaster: One For All.

“If it were an extension of the game that launched for PS3, the PS4 version would have already been out,” Sakagami said.

He teased, “After we get in a good amount of development time, I will show you a new Idolmaster.”

The Idolmaster was first announced for PlayStation 4 at Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference last year.
