Konami will debut the 25-minute behind-closed-doors demo of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain first shown at Gamescom last week this Thursday, August 21, at 3 a.m. PT / 6 a.m. ET / 11 a.m. BST on IGN.
The demo will include a first look at the game’s multiplayer mode, as well as how the day-night cycle affects mission gameplay.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is due out in 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Update: As pointed out in the comments, it sounds like this is just the direct-feed version of the already leaked Gamescom presentation (which I was not aware existed). If so, the multiplayer teased by IGN seems to be the Mother Base invasions, rather than the full-fledged ‘Metal Gear Online‘ component.
