Deep Silver has released the debut gameplay trailer and first screenshots for Dead Island 2 ahead of the game’s playable debut at Gamescom this week.
The game, in development at Yager for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, picks up the Dead Island and Escape ead Island storyline several months after the events on the Banoi islands. The U.S. military has put Los Angeles under full quarantine, and California has become a “bloody paradise” for up to eight players to cooperate, compete, and co-exist in what Deep Silver describes as a “truly social, new-gen multiplayer experience.”
