Assassin’s Creed: Rogue and Assassin’s Creed: Unity are Game Informer’s September cover story, the magazine announced.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, whose trailer and release date of November 11 leaked earlier this morning, puts players in the role of former Assassin turned Templar Shay Patrick Cormac. It adapts Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag‘s naval gameplay and has players navigating a ship across the North Atlantic, Appalachian River Valley, and a re-imagined New York. It is set during the Seven Years’ War, filling the gap between Assassin’s Creed III and IV, and acts as a “crucial link” to the Kenway saga.
As for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Game Informer has the latest on Elise, introduced in a new trailer last week, as well as new details about what Arno’s quest entails, what historical events and people you’ll meet, and how Arno’s allegiance to the Assassins complicates things.
