Bandai Namco has released the first large batch of high-res screenshots of its newly announced PlayStation 3 and PS Vita crossover game Super Hero Generation.
The game features heroes, rivals, enemies, monsters, and the like from the following franchises:

- Kamen Rider Fourze

- Mobile Suit Gundam Age: Memory of Eden
- Mobile Suit Gundam OO
- Mobile Suit Gundam Seed
- Mobile Suit Gundam F91
- Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack
The game is set in the worlds of Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Gundam, in the distant future where a new hero is tasked with saving the world. Players will organize a team of their favorite heroes and through each stage relive situations from each participtaing title filled with strategy RPG battles and dialogue.
Here’s the basic rundown of a player’s turn in battle:
- 1. Move your unit
- 2. Select your special move to use against the attack target (this will consume Energy)
- 3. After reviewing accuracy rate and attack power details, confirm and attack
- 4. The enemy is attacked and defeated if its HP reaches zero
After defeating enemies, it’s possible players will level up and learn new special attacks.
You’ll also encounter various dialogue-based stage events while on the battlefield. And Super Hero Generation also has a custom sound feature, letting you change the battle BGM of your favorite units. You can even configure tracks for each special move.
Super Hero Generation will launch for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan on October 23. A limited “Special Sound Edition” of the game will include 20 custom songs, including:
- “Life is Show Time” from Kamen Rider Wizard
- “Switch On!” from Kamen Rider Fourze
- “Anything Goes!” from Kamen Rider OOO
- “W-B-X Boiled Extreme” from Kamen Rider W
- “Kamen Rider Black RX” from Kamen Rider Black RX
- “Ultraman Ginga’s Song” from Ultraman Ginga
- “Brave Love, Tiga” from Ultraman Tiga
- “Merry-Go-Round” from Mobile Suit Gundam UC
- “Hakanaku mo Eikyuu no Kanashi” from Mobile Suit GUndam 00
- “Eternal Wind: Hohoemi ha Hikaru Kaze no Naka” from Mobile Suit Gundam F91
