Customize your Secret Base and share it via StreetPass.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire players will be able to customize their own Secret Base, Nintendo announced.

The Secret Base is a customizable area that allows players to set up mazes or traps for visitors, create custom Pokemon battle rules, and transform the base into their own Pokemon Gym.

Players will be able to share their Secret Base via StreetPass functionality and QR Codes. When visiting another player’s Secret Base, you can meet other trainers and invite them back to your own Secret Base as “Secret Pals,” whom players can interact and battle with and have special skills that can support players in their adventures, such as new Decorations, making a Pokemon Egg hatch faster, or raising a Pokemon’s level by one. The more Secret Pals you recruit, the more special skills you’ll gain access to.

Additionally, players can capture flags when visiting other Secret Bases, which are located beside the Secret PC in each base. Collect more flags to earn a higher rank, in turn allowing players to further improve their Secret Pals’ special skills.
