Lost Dimension screenshots introduce Vision, Judgment, and Reliability systems

Determine and erase the traitor.

Lost Dimension

The latest set of Lost Dimension screenshots detail the game’s “Vision,” “Judgment,” and “Reliability” systems.

In Lost Dimension, the player’s decisions will affect the story. At the end of a quest, players can listen to the voice of their team members’ hearts. A suspicious voice is indicated with the color red. By replaying the quest, it’s possible to narrow down the traitor on your team. If you’re still unsure, you can enter “Deep Vision,” which allows you to explore the mind of your team member to determine whether or not they’ve betrayed you. However, as not to abuse the system, the number of times you can do this is limited.

When you’ve pinpointed the traitor, it’s time for judgment. The betrayer is determined by vote and regardless of whether or not they’re the actual traitor, the selected team member will be eliminated without mercy.

Players can manipulate judgment votes by controlling the reliability between members, making it possible to alter the erase target. It is difficult for members with high reliability to vote to erase each other, so it is important to control team member reliability through battles and conversation.

Lost Dimension is due out for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan on August 7. View a new set of screenshots at the gallery.
