Hyrule Warriors screenshots introduce Fi, Ghirahim, The Imprisoned, and more
58 new screenshots of upcoming Zelda game. The latest set of Hyrule Warriors screenshots introduce newly announced characters Fi, Ghirahim, and The Imprisoned, as well as two The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword-based stages and new weapons.
Fi (who is playable) is the “Goddess of the Sword” dwelling within the statue symbol of Skyloft. She ends up in the world of Hyrule Warriors after she’s dragged into a world adhesion and loses her way. She holds a wealth of knowledge and a high level of analytic skills, and shares it with he who wields the sword. She has a metal, blue, female-like body, but is gender-less and has no emotions. She moves through the air, fights in dance-like movements, and can cut through enemies by transforming into a sword. She can also manipulate the power of the three Sacred Flames from Skyward Sword. Her weapon is the “Heavenly Sword.”
Ghirahim (an enemy) is the lord of demons who plotted the revival of The Imprisoned. He is filled with pride, violent, and narcissistic. His demeanor is generally polite, but his true character is ruthless and cruel. He controls a number of small swords floating through the air, which can change into a large sword and cut an enemy in two. He can also teleport and summon goblins to the field, as well as change his appearance to boost his power.
The Imprisoned (an enemy) is from Skyward Sword‘s “Sealed Grounds,” and as its name suggests, is sealed within its grounds. It is said to hold a mighty power that could lead to the world’s ruin. It has a huge, mountain-like body and is able to generate shockwaves that blow away enemies in a single step. Its body is covered in scales, and has a sealing spike at the top of its head. Its white toes are its weak spot.
The new stages, both from Skyward Sword, are Skyloft and the Sealed Grounds. Hyrule Warriors‘ version of Skyloft somehow collided with the Pumpkin Bar, and you’ll also see the Great Spirit of the Skies Levias, too. At the Sealed Grounds, Ghiramhim will attempt to revive The Imprisoned.
New weapons shown in the images include the “Glove,” which combines the chain hammer and power glove; the “Bow and Arrow”; and the legendary “Baton,” which lets you blow off enemies with wind and attack with thunder.
Finally, you’ll also get a look at the “Heart Container” and “Heart Fragments,” which increase your health by one when four fragments are collected. You’ll also see the shop, leveling up, Badges (which give you an advantage in battle), and item mixing.
Also announced, the “Courage” costume set included with first-print run copies of the game in Japan will have a Skyward Sword costume for Link in addition to a Twilight Princess outfit. Likewise, the “Wisdom” set included with the Premium and Treasure Box versions of the game will have a Skyward Sword outfit for Zelda in addition to the Twilight Princess outfit.
