Agent Locke playable in Halo 5: Guardians

Halo: Nightfall to act as Locke's "superhero origin story."

Halo: Nightfall

Agent Locke, the star of Halo: Nightfall, Ridley Scott’s new Halo digital feature, will be a playable character in Halo 5: Guardians, 343 Industries announced at a San Diego Comic-Con panel today.

Nightfall will act as Jameson Locke’s origin story, which leads into his role in Halo 5. It is set on a broken piece of the Halo ring from Halo: Combat Evolve, and sees Locke become a Spartan. 343 Industries franchise development director Frank O’Connor describes his story as “a superhero origin story” more closely integrated into Halo 5 than Forward Unto Dawn was with Halo 4.
