Far Cry 4 owners on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 will be able to play Far Cry 4 multiplayer with players who don’t own Far Cry 4, Sony announced during its E3 press conference.
PlayStation owners of Far Cry 4 will be able to play the upcoming shooter online with friends who don’t own the game, Ubisoft announced during Sony Computer Entertainment’s E3 media briefing this evening.
This is part of the PlayStation-exclusive “Keys of Kyrat” feature, which opens up the world’s borders to any of your PlayStation Network friends, allowing you to invite them into your open world even if they don’t own a copy of the game. Together, you can capture outposts, traverse Kyrat, and make gains.
Another Far Cry 4 co-op mode is the drop-in / drop-out “Guns for Hire” mode, which lets you and a friend take to the wilds of Kyrat hunting down enemies and blowing things up for experience and in-game cash.
