Square Enix has trademarked the name “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided” in Europe.
Back in October, Eidos Montreal announced it was developing the next entry in the Deus Ex series for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Artwork shown from the upcoming title was said to represent a “‘ghetto-city’ voluntarily built in order to separate the classes,” which fits in well with the new trademark.
A casting call later that month might have revealed first details. It detailed a Japanese man named Hiroshi Saito, in his late 30s, who is an Illuminati Shadow Agent assigned to infiltrate the Augmented Rights Coalition and replace its leader.
Thanks, NeoGAF.
