Konami Digital appoints new president

Former executive VP moves up the ranks.

Konami Digital Entertainment has appointed Tomohiro Uesugi, its former executive vice president, as its new president.

Uesugi has a background in human resources, finance, consulting, planning, and operations management, which Konami believes will help further its sales in North, Central, and South America.

“I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve as the head of our talented and passionate employees, and I have a deep respect for our community of fans,” Uesugi said. “We will focus on our talent and iconic brands as we continue to provide innovative products for even deeper and more enjoyable experiences to our customers.”
