BioWare is considering porting the Mass Effect trilogy to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to Edmonton studio general manager Aaryn Flynn.
Asked by a fan on Twitter if they could bring the game to next-gen consoles, Flynn responded, “We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we’ll share. Great to hear you’re keen.”
If it were to happen, it might be a while off. BioWare Edmonton is currently working on Dragon Age: Inquisition and an unannounced new IP, while Bioware Montreal is working on the fourth Mass Effect. And its other two studios, Austin and Waystone, are handling Star Wars: The Old Republic and Dawngate, respectively.
