Alien: Isolation will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in North America and Europe on October 7, Sega and The Creative Assembly announced at EGX Rezzed.
“We couldn’t be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation,” said Alistair Hope, Creative Lead at Creative Assembly. “The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It’s the Alien game that we’ve always wanted to play and we can’t wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall.”
The first-person survival horror game aims to capture the fear and tension evoked by the original Alien film from 1979. Tthere is only one Xenomorph. Players are without weapons—there are no machine guns to take down this alien. The only goal is to survive.
