Watch Dogs, originally planned as a next-gen launch title, will launch sometime between April and June 2014, Ubisoft confirmed in its third quarter earnings report.
“Fiscal 2014-15 will see an exceptional games line-up, with the release of five major titles including Just Dance, The Crew and Watch Dogs, which is scheduled for release in the first fiscal quarter,” Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said.
In a conference call following the report’s release, Ubisoft confirmed the game is still planned for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC, but the Wii U version will arrive later.
“We made the difficult decision to further delay the release of Watch Dogs on Wii U to focus the team’s resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft,” Guillemot said.
Thanks, Game Informer.
