Nintendo announced Steel Diver: Sub Wars, a free-to-play strategic first-person shooter, for the 3DS eShop during tonight’s Nintendo Direct broadcast.
Available now, the game offers “more tactical action gameplay than typical shooters.” Players are tasked with navigating heavy-duty submarines while competing against enemies. The game supports local four-on-four team sub battles and online battles.
The game offers two basic submarines to boot, the beginning of the single-player mission mode, and the multiplayer mode. For $9.99, players can upgrade to the premium version of the game.
