Slim PS Vita coming to the U.K. on February 7

Lighter model to replace existing PS Vita SKU.

PS Vita Slim

The slim PS Vita, first launched in Japan last October, is coming to the United Kingdom on February 7 for a suggested retail price of £180, Sony Computer Entertainment UK announced.

The PCH-2000 model will feature one gigabyte of internal memory, a five-inch LCD display, new rounded shape, power and notification indicators, micro USB port, and longer battery life. It is 15 percent lighter and 20 percent slimmer, and will replace the existing series of PCH-1000 series PS Vitas as stock of the older model runs dry.

A release outside of the United Kingdom was not announced.
