Media Create Sales: 1/13/14 – 1/19/14

Kirby: Triple Deluxe remains on top this week.

Kirby Triple Deluxe

Kirby: Triple Deluxe remains the top seller in Japan this week following its 3DS debut last week, this week’s Media Create sales numbers show. The platformer moved another 81,000 units.

Following is Puzzle & Dragons Z for 3DS, moving another 48,000 units. The game, based on the super popular smartphone title, has sold over 1,265,000 copies so far.

Yokai Watch, Level-5’s cute 3DS RPG launched in July last year, takes position four on the sales chart with 19,000 copies sold. It hasn’t appeared on the sales chart for some time, but resurfaced last week likely due to the January 8 launch of the TV anime.

On the hardware side, sales are similar to last week’s. Each console holds the same position on the chart, but sold a few thousand units less.
