Ward off 3D girls as Nijigen-kun's brain wife brought to life.Kadokawa Games‘ latest update on Golden Time: Vivid Memories details the game’s Gathering Topic Events, Correlation Diagram, and second of three mini-games.
“Gathering Topic Events” occur as a major point of the game’s story. While having fun at a bustling tavern, you have to pay attention not to bring down the mood of the place with the words you say. These special events require “Kyoro Skills.”
In the “Correlation Diagram,” selected from the system menu, players can view the level of closeness between characters. Characters’ sense of distance and conversation partners will change depending on the their closeness. There is a variety of patterns. Sometimes, after large events, a “character drama” will play out.
The second of Vivid Memories‘ three mini-games is called “VJ Slash,” a “non-stop action game” where VJ, Nijigen-kun’s brain wife brought to life, must ward off 3D girls with her blade in order to protect him from the temptations of the 3D world. As you play, your “Beast Gauge” will accumulate, which at 100 percent enables “Beast Mode,” boosting VJ’s speed and making her invincible. On the map, you’ll occasionally come across “Biscuits.” Before a mission begins, you can use Biscuits to purchase a variety of effects, such as increasing your max hearts, beast mode time. Boss battles include 3D girls like Koko and Linda.
