The next Alien game from Sega is Alien: Isolation, a first-person survival horror game developed by Creative Assembly and due out PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in late 2014.
“On a decommissioned trading station in the fringes of space, fear and panic have gripped the inhabitants,” reads the game description. “Players find themselves in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows. Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.”
According to Alien: Isolation creative lead Alistair Hope, the game aims to return to the series Ridley Scott 1979 movie roots—”the original survival horror.”
“Our Alien is a truly terrifying creature, as intelligent as he is hostile, relentless, brutal and unstoppable,” Alistair said.
