
PlayStation 4 was the top-selling console in November and PlayStation was the top seller overall for home consoles in North America, Sony reported via NPD.
It’s taken the record as the world’s biggest console launch.
PlayStation 4 also took top honors in software sales.
Xbox One, which launched a week later than PlayStation 4, was November’s fastest-selling console, however, averaging 101,000 units sold per day, Microsoft’s Larry Hryb reported. A total of 909,132 units were sold.
As of December 3, sales of PlayStation 4 worldwide reached 2.1 million units. And as of December 11, Xbox One sales reached two million.
On the current-gen side of things, Xbox 360 took top sales in November, moving 674,000 units.

- Disney Infinity (Disney)
- FIFA 14 (EA)
