Peggle 2 getting free multiplayer mode

"Lots of surprises" in store for puzzle game sequel.

A free multiplayer mode is coming to Peggle 2, producer Jared Neuss announced in a post on the game’s official Facebook page.

The upcoming ‘Duel’ mode, which may sound familiar to those who’ve played the first Peggle, will enable players to compete against each other locally and online in head-to-head matches on the same board.

According to Neuss, the free multiplayer mode is “just the beginning,” and “lots of surprises” are in store for Peggle 2 fans.

“We’ll be bringing you regular updates as we continue to expand and add to the world that we’ve built,” Neuss teased.

Peggle 2 launched for Xbox One this Monday, December 9.
