Nintendo launches NES Remix on the Wii U eShop
Re-experience classic NES games with remixed gameplay.
Nintendo launched NES Remix, a game compilation remixing 16 classic NES titles including Super Maro Bros. and The Legend of Zelda, on the Wii U eShop today.
The $14.99 features carefully selected scenes from classic NES titles remixed with new challenges. For example, players might be tasked with completing a familiar Super Maro Bros. stage while running to the left. Or face a revamped level in Donkey Kong that lets them play as Link from The Legend of Zelda.
Some levels are largely the same as their original format, but highlight the title’s best gameplay, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata said.
NES Remix is now available for $14.99.
