God of War: Ascension director leaves Sony Santa Monica

Todd Papy is moving to Germany.

God of War: Ascension director Todd Papy has left Sony Santa Monica Studio.

“Yesterday was my last day @SonySantaMonica,” Papy said on Twitter. “I’m extremely honored to have been part of that team. <3 you SSM!"

Why the leave? Papy's moving to Germany."We decided to move to Germany," Papy elaborated. “We want to experience a different culture & all the wonderful things that Europe has to offer.”

But he assures fans he’s not quite done with makings games yet.

“I haven’t quit games,” he promised.
