Sportsfriends coming to PlayStation 4

PlayStation 3 Kickstarter backers get PS4 version free.

Die Gute Fabrik’s Sportsfriends is coming to PlayStation 4.

The download title consists of four games: Johann Sebastian Joust, Super Pole Riders, BaraBariBall, and Hokra. It was previously confirmed for PlayStation 3, PC, Mac, and Linux, and will now come to Sony’s next-gen console after it launches for PlayStation 3. A specific release date was not announced, but it will come in the “not-so-distant future,” according to producer Doug Wilson.

Those who backed the PlayStation 3 version on Kickstarter will receive the PlayStation 4 version free of charge. The team is still determing whether they’re doing cross-buy on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

The PlayStation 3 version of Sportsfriends is currently planned for release in January.
