Nippon Ichi Software is making a new action RPG.

Early news leaks from this week’s Dengeki are out. Get the round-up, including tidbits on Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, Disgaea 4: Return, and more below.

Yakuza: Ishin (PS4, PS3)

  • Haru can clean your ears out for you

Super Robot Wars OG: Infinite Battle (PS3)

  • Gespenst Type RV and RV2 Powered are playable
  • The opening theme is by Granrodeo
  • Aki Misato is in charge of the ending theme

Dark Souls 2 (PS3, 360)

  • Highly-rated messages will remain for a longer period
  • There were lots of requests to be able to play with friends, but this game is different from other multiplayer games, so they’re making a different kind of set-up
  • When you die, your HP gradually decreases, and you might be invaded, but they’re making a mechanism for people who don’t want to be invaded

Disgaea 4: Return (PS Vita)

  • All downloadable content will be included
  • New magic attacks like “Peta” will appear
  • A new scenario will clarify the truth of the relationship between that and “that”

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment (PS Vita)

  • Seven Days War is handling the scenario
  • Whether it can inherit save data from the previous game is still under consideration
  • The battles have auto attack plus a way to mash normal attacks
  • The map is broad enough that you can see the horizon
  • The new character’s voice actress and co-op play elements are still being kept secret
  • You can hold hands with and sleep next to the heroine

Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Battle Pentagram (PS Vita)

  • As your bond level increases, you’ll see unexpected scenes not found in the original anime
  • The limited edition’s extra clothing is a swimsuit, gym uniform, and pajamas

Golden Time: Vivid Memories (PS Vita)

  • Completely original story
  • About 20 different endings

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 1 (PS Vita)

  • Nepgear, Uni, Rom, and Ram are playable
  • Coliseum implemented, party can be modified ahead of events and battles

New Atelier Rorona (PS3, PS Vita)

  • Bingo Bonus, Text Backlog functions added, special attacks have been renewed
  • The save data bonus costumes are different for each platform

Kan Colle Kai (PS Vita)

  • The release period will match the development of the anime, sometime after summer 2014
  • The system will basically flow in the same way (as the browser version, I guess?)
  • It’s standalone from the browser game, but they’re looking for a way to get a little bit of online functionality in
  • It’s not a technical issue
  • There will be packaged and download versions

Nippon Ichi Software Interview

  • A new action RPG is in production
  • A sequel to The Witch and the Hundred Knight is uncertain, but a patch is in the works
