Deception IV: Blood Ties will launch for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan on February 27, 2014, this week’s Famitsu reveals.
The game will be produced by Keisuke Kikuchi, whose previous works include Fatal Frame and Quantum Theory. Its main character is Regurina, who borrows the power of three mediums and seeks out the descendants of the 12 saints who sealed her father, destroying them one by one.
A bit about the three mediums: Kaeria is in charge of the Karei (splendor) Riria is in charge of Kutsujoku (disgrace); and Veruza is in charge of Zangyoku (cruelty).
Traps can be set three at a time. When you set them consecutively to trap armored characters, their armor will break.
Deception IV‘s catch copy is “play more wickedly.” The player can design the play style. It’s medieval-esque, but there are also steam punk-themed stages, too.
North American and European fans, Deception IV has already been confirmed for release in early 2014.
Thanks, Game Nyarth.
