Cosmic Star Heroine Kickstarter launched

Cthulu developer seeking $100,000 for new project.

Zeboyd Games has launched the Kickstarter campaign for Cosmic Star Heroine, its turn-based retro sci-fi RPG coming to PlayStation 4, PS Vita, PC, and Mac in 2014.

The Cthulu Saves the World developer is seeking $100,000 to create the title, with a $10 backing netting supporters a digital copy of the game on their platform of choice.

The game, which draws inspiration from Chrono Trigger, Phantasy Star, and Suikoden, promises to be a “good old-fashioned classic turn-based RPG” with the ability to save anywhere, minimal grinding, brisk pacing, no separate battle screen, animated cutscenes, multi-character combo techniques, and more.

More information the RPG’s gameplay features, story, and characters can be read up on the Kickstarter page. Watch the pitch video below.
