In Puppeteer, Sony Japan’s upcoming PlayStation 3 platformer about a boy named Kutaro whose head is stolen by the evil Moon Bear, Kutaro can collect over 100 heads.
These heads span from the Hamburger head to the Lion head to the more valuable Hero Heads, which grant Kutaro new abilities. The Knight head, for example, enables Kutaro to deflect incoming projectiles with a shield. The Ninja head lets Kutaro throw bombs at enemies and blow up parts of the environment. The Moon Pirate head comes with a grappling hook that can pull enemies closer or latch onto a boss creature. And the Wrestler head lets Kutaro crash down on enemies with a Brute Power attack.
A new trailer released today highlights these powers, as well as the game’s story and boss battles. Watch it below. Puppeteer is due out for PlayStation 3 on September 10 in North America and September 11 in Europe.
