Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational hits PS3 next week

Make nice shots and sink birdies for $19.99.

Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, or Everybody’s Golf as it’s known in Europe, will launch for PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network in North America next Tuesday, July 23 and in Europe next Wednesday, July 24 for $19.99 / €14.99 / £11.99, Sony has announced.

The PlayStation 3 version of the former PS Vita-exclusive offers four-player local multiplayer and other new features such as Real Feel Shots, which allows you to play with the PlayStation Move controller.

All of the download content from the PS Vita version is cross-buy, meaning any content you’ve already purchased for said version will also work with the PlayStation 3 version. A patch will be released for the PS Vita version that will enable handheld owners to play with PlayStation 3 owners in online tournaments.

Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational initially launched for PS Vita as a launch title in February last year. It came to PlayStation 3 at retail in Japan last November.
