Atlus and Zombie Studios have shared new details, video, and screenshots of Daylight, its newly announced downloadable first-person horror game for PlayStation 4 and PC.
The game is set in abandoned hospital and gives players only a cell phone to use as a light source. It is procedurally generated, meaning no clues, corridors, flares, or lurking specter will ever be the in the same place twice. The game runs on Unreal Engine 4 and is written by games industry veteran Jessica Chobot, who also voices the main character.
On PlayStation 4, the game promises to use “every ounce of processing power,” allow friends to share and live stream gameplay footage, and will use the PlayStation Eye camera to take pictures of the player the exact moment a scare happens. It also supports RealD 3D.
