The long-awaited PS Vita version of Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault will launch on the PlayStation Store next Tuesday, May 21 in North America, and Wednesday, May 22 in Europe, Sony and Insomniac Games have announced.
Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked HD, which will be included as a “bonus thank you” for the long-delayed PS Vita release, is currently being wrapped up and will be available “soon.” For PlayStation 3 owners with a retail copy of Full Frontal Assault, you’ll be able to download Deadlocked HD, as well as the PS Vita version of Full Frontal Assault, by accessing the “Disc Benefits” option in the game menu. If you have a download copy, the PS Vita version and Deadlocked HD will appear as free downloads on your PlayStation Store.
Finally, a software update for the PlayStation 3 version of Full Frontal Assault is now available. It adds a new competitive map for the game’s multiplayer mode set in Molonoth Fields from Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time, and a PS3-exclusive two-versus-two mode. Watch a trailer for the new map below.
