Lucid Games teases “exciting updates” for mid-May

Lucid Games, a studio formed of former Bizarre Creations developers in February last year, is teasing “exciting updates” for mid-May.

“So yeah, Mid-May will be interesting for the studio,” the studio said on Facebook. “We have some exciting updates coming. Stay tuned!”

Bizarre Creations, now shuttered, was known for developing Microsoft’s Project Gotham Racing series and more recently Blur. It’s previously been rumored Lucid was developing a new Project Gotham Racing for the next-generation Xbox, set to be unveiled on May 21.

The timing would be awfully accurate.

In January, the studio began teasing a new racer.
