  • In my opinion, it looks like a current-gen game.

    • Always No. 9

Kinda have to agree, I mean it is probably in the early stages and most likely still is going to get some polishing…..but if you show images…..make them look sexy ( -__-)*……#9

    • That third pic is really impressive but it is the first patch of pictures. I wouldnt judge it based of the first 3 pictures of the game. This suppose to be a massive game, so I wonder how great looking it is going to be, especially when it is one of the first titles announced for the system.

There’s more to new generations than just visuals. Besides, who cares? Sheesh. Does it look good? Yes.

      That should be enough.

      • I like open world games a lot (big fan of GTA) and what I really want to see from developers in their next-gen games are better physics and attention to detail (sound design, dynamic A.I. etc.) but I can’t comment on that stuff through screenshots.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind the graphics staying the same, since it’s already pretty impressive as is. Also, didn’t the developers say that the new engine will be concentrating its focus on making the game completely open while also drastically increasing the explorable areas? I think maintaining the same level of graphics with those features in mind is rather impressive to say the least.

Those screenshots still use the current TW2 RedEngine2. TW3 will use RedEngine3.

We’re probably not going to get true looking next gen games on PS4 for another 2 years

It’s not like the leap from current gen to next gen in terms of graphics is very significant…

Most launch next gen games will probably look only slightly ‘better’ than late current gen ones. I’m more concerned that developers manage to keep a steady frame rate without screen-tearing rather than whether characters have more visible veins under their skin.

    Proximal interpolation?! Why?

Seriously CDPR, at least feed us a shot with Ubersampling enabled… and preferably rendered at native 1080p so we can expect what the PS4 version might look like…

  • its looks great cannt expect much from a first gen next gen with title.

  • DrForbidden

    OOOOOHHH! Lookit dem purdy pictures!

On another note, Is J.J. Abrams directing Wild Hunt? No? Than cut that lensflare shit out, CDPR.
