Nippon Ichi Software's original PS3 action RPG coming in July.

After a series of delays, The Witch and the Hundred Knights, Nippon Ichi Software’s original action RPG for PlayStation 3, will launch in Japan on July 25 for 7,140 yen, the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation reveals.

A limited edition will also be released for 10,290 yen.

Besides Metallica, the witch we’ve come to know and love, the plump Eyepatch Witch, Dumpling Witch, and three other characters are introduced. More news on the title will be shared in the next issue of Dengeki PlayStation, due out on April 25.

    Can’t wait for this. ^_^

I wonder what NIS America will have to change the name of the witch to to avoid being sued by the music group of the same name? :p

    • Did they say something about doing that? Because it’s already been announced for the west under The Witch and the Hundred Knights.

I’m just speculating because the witch’s name is Metallica and it’s also the name of a band that has no sense of humor.
I’m talking about just the name of the witch.

      • He means the character’s name. She’s called Metallica. The western title is “The Witch and the Hundred Knights” as you suggested.
