Sweet, I’m glad that Photo Kano Kiss got such a great score. The previous PSP game got a score of 36/40 (Which is also really good), but I’m still glad that I waited for this enhanced version.

    • It’s enhanced in every possible way and it looks gorgeous. A hentai-otaku’s dream :P

      • Eclipse

Lol, sounds damn good to me! XD

It was actually the first episode of the Anime that really got me interested in this series. I might even enjoy this more than I did Amagami! The first episode was so, so good. <3

        • Josephl64

I actually just went ahead and ordered it

          • Eclipse

Nice! I just pre-ordered my copy a few days ago.

Did you manage to get the version with the “first release bonus”? It comes with a Drama CD and some download codes.

            • Ah Sony, ban this stupid one-account-on-Vita policy already. rendering the DL-codes virtually useless drives me nuts.
I’m broke right now. What hurts even more is the rather favorable exchange rate between Yen and Euro.
Have to watch the Anime yet, but heard it exhibits rather gorgeous fan-service throughout.

What exactly are the differences in DD:Dark Arisen besides the new island, anyway?
I love DD but I don’t know if I want to spend 30 bucks just for an add-on.

  • Ooh Photo Kano Kiss, may check it out afterall

  • Wow, PhotoKano Kiss as good as BS Infinite and TR beats them both. Oh Famitsu, how I love their reviewers.

    • almostautumn

Apples to oranges; all three are very different game types. You really shouldn’t look at reviews like that.

    • Cagosinho Jr

Just because a few site editors are in love with Bioshock, and that American press is generally biased towards shooters, it doesn’t mean that
everybody in the world must see it as above all the other games, especially the ones from other genres.

    • bloodiOS

Bioshock Infinite would’ve gotten a perfect score if it wasn’t for the ending.
Minus 3 points for the depression-inducing ending!!!
(Really though, the game should’ve gotten a perfect score.)

      • Oh fellas, I thought the joke was rather obvious. Sorry to have upset you guys. Japanese gaming tastes are vastly different from the western barbarians’ and it’s a bloody good thing.

Point is, I don’t take Fami reviews seriously anymore. They have an incredibly short amount of time to review lots of games and they’re very generous awarding even mediocre western games like Skyrim (yes, I said it, sue me – no story, lame characters, bug-infested, severe performance issues on consoles, etc.; only redeeming point is a rather big open world) very high scores.

    • DrForbidden

I’m suspicious of the TR scores because SE is the publisher, but you can’t compare BI and PK in that manner as they are completely different genres.

  • almostautumn

    whattttttttttttttt at Photokano?!
I thought that looked like a pretty typical title, but damn that’s a high score! I wonder if the Sim elements are really that top notch, or if the game is actually much “more” than what it looks like.

  • Tomb Raider got more score than Bioshock, and Photo Kano Shit got the same score ?
You must be freaking kidding me, japanese.

  • Anyone know what negatives they gave for Kajiri Kamui Kagura and Cross Blood Infinity?

Pleasantly surprised by PhotoKano’s score. Hope it’s fun.
