A resived version of the original PSP game perhaps? Either way, it sounds pretty awesome. Compared to the vast majority of games with visual novel elements, the PSP game probably has one the most well animated sprites (or was it model…) ever.

  • Eclipse

    Love me some Oreimo <3

Considering that the Anime is airing next month, the timing for this announcement is perfect. I can already see the hype rising for this already popular series.

The anime is airing next month o.o? You mean a second season is airing next month =o?

      • Eclipse

Yep. The 2nd season of the Anime will be streaming on Crunchyroll next month~!

Ah thank you based…Crunchyroll. Time to get back the premium, at least until I head out for Japan =(

  • 新阿修羅(ShinAsura)

They’re going to feed off the frenzy of the second season of the anime coming

  • RedWolfe

I actually just finished the first season of Oreimo (thanks Crackle :D) and I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.

Not too sure the game would be something I’d be interested in but I am pretty excited for Season 2 of the anime :)

  • Trailer just came out. Added it.

  • Kyosuke Yoshino

Can’t wait! Hopefully this will cover the story until the end of the LN, and you can select any girl for the ending, with different routes. The PSP versions were also awesome, so I think it will look beautiful on the PS3.

    ………wot?

    If this is an entirely new game;

What could possibly top the Ayase “Bad end?”
(anyone that played the PSP game knows what i’m talking about)

    good ^^

Genre lol we all probably have a clue what kind of genre this game will end up being :P

Haven’t seen the anime but it looks fun, and I’m really happy how Namco Bandai is stepping it up with the anime adoptation titles, and love how we will get Time and Eternity localized :D

It’s very funny considering few years back there was a lack of jrpgs/anime type of genre games and now out of the blue we have a huge overload of this type of games, looks like somebody was listening.

  • Sweet, looking forward to it. The Anime was excellent (can’t afford importing the LNs, so no clue how faithful it was to the source) and it’s a permanent companion on my Vita. If they can translate the top-notch animation to PS3 we’re in for a treat.
Funny how PS3 receives a steady stream of new releases from Japan while PS4 is almost knocking at our doors. Gonna be interesting to see how long Japanese devs will take until they switch primary development to Sony’s latest home console.

    • Solomon_Kano

I think the transition will be smoother than it was from last gen into this one, so more will make the switch, but we can likely expect Japanese devs to keep supporting the PS3 probably into 2016-ish. Two years and a few months sounds like nothing after the 4-5 years that the PS2 kept receiving titles from the PS3’s release. That’d take us right up to the end of Sony’s 10-year cycle.

      • Not that I’d complain. There’s only one way I’m getting PS4 at launch: FFvXIII becoming a PS4 launch title bundled with a LE PS4. Besides that I’m cool with my PS3 for another couple of years.

        • Solomon_Kano

I’m tempted to go for it at launch due to my intense love for Sucker Punch and character based platformers, but that’ll depend on how my wallet looks when the time arrives. One way or the other, I’m not getting rid of my PS3. I made that mistake with my PS2 (which is funny considering I didn’t get rid of my PS1 for that <_<), but I won't make it again. Hell, I got rid of my PS2 so early that I missed P3 and P4. So, yea, no matter what I'll be keeping my PS3 in service.

If Kojima announces that Ground Zeroes has gone next gen and will be out this year though, nothing is stopping me from getting a PS4 at launch.

          • fair enough. glad to hear you’re keeping Sony’s current system in service. To be fair, we don’t really have a choice, as all of our PSN and digital versions of retail games won’t work on PS4.

            • Solomon_Kano

Ah, that’s right. I’ve got a number of PSN titles, so my PS3 will definitely be sticking around. On top of that, there are a number of games that I’ve been meaning to import that will have gone down in price the longer the PS3 sticks around, so there that.

              • I wouldn’t bet on Japanese games dropping in price anytime soon :P

                • Solomon_Kano

Yea, that doesn’t happen often lol. One game in particular though, Gundam Extreme Vs., has had a different price every time I’ve gone back to Play-Asia. It was 100 then 80 then 60 the last time I looked, so I don’t even know what to expect anymore lol. There’s a few European games I need to get too though, so those should be cheaper at least.

                  • play asia are expensive as fuck. I’d suggest nippon-yasan.com. great prices and never had any issues with delivery to Germany regardless of hard- or software.

                    • Solomon_Kano

Oh? Thanks for the site, man.

                    • they’re kinda low-profile, but their prices are only slightly higher (around 500yen higher) than Amazon.co.jp’s. which is the cheapest online shop in Japan, but amazon does not ship games outside Japan.

                    • Solomon_Kano

Just over Amazon? That’s great. Thanks a ton, man.

                    • Yea, I compared prices while living in Tokyo. They’re roughly 300-500 yen more expensive than amazon but they deliver anywhere in the world. The only other shop offering prices very close to amazon’s is amiami.com but I don’t particularly like their shop system and the fact you can’t cancel your order. Nippon-yasan.com is much more easy and convenient to use.

                    • Solomon_Kano

Pays to have firsthand experience, huh? Most people just seem to go with P-A without being aware of most other options, so it’s nice to get a recommendation from somebody in the know.

                    • I tested all three shops (including amazon.co.jp during my stay in Tokyo) and nippon-yasan.com is the closest to “the amazon experience”. amiami have good prices but they run out of stock soon and their shopping experience is kinda meh. P-A is expensive but delivery is cheap. I really prefer nippon-yasan but few people know about the shop so I wanted to recommend it ;)

                    • Solomon_Kano

Well, that recommendation has definitely been of service to me and it’s one I’ll repeat to other folks looking to import. Thanks again, man.

                    • glad to hear that. enjoy your shopping experience =)

  • Budgiecat

    Wut is the title translation?

My little sister cant be giving me a happy ending?
