Dreamfall Chapters Kickstarter closes at $1.5 million

Director's Cut content to be included thanks to extra funding.

The Kickstarter campaign for Dreamfall Chapters, Read Thread Games’ sequel to Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, has ended today with $1,538,425 backed by supporters, succeeding its goal of $850,000 by over $688,000.

Having past the $1.5 million stretch goal, the game will include content initially cut due to the game’s then-lower budget. This includes “a couple of locations, some intriguing characters and conversations, a number of smaller scenes and intimate moments, a few puzzles, a bunch of minor story beats, and a hatful of funsies.”
