Rumor: Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag leaked

Next Assassin's Creed to star pirate assassin?

A screenshot, poster, and details surrounding the next Assassin’s Creed, rumored to be titled Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, have supposedly leaked online.

The poster, leaked by a Kotaku tipster, will go on display at retailers on Monday, March 4, according to the source.

Examiner claims to have the first screenshot (above) and details. It is said to star Edward Kenway, a known Privateer and the father of Haytham Kenway from Assassin’s Creed III, and is set in the Carribean on islands including Jamaica, Cuba, and the Bahamas. It’s currently running on current generation hardware, but is planned for next-gen as well, according to the report.

Earlier this month, a Reddit user claimed to have seen an Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on an airplane, while a woman sitting in the row ahead of him was making edits to her Powerpoint presentation.

Ubisoft is expected to reveal the next Assassin’s Creed tomorrow.
