Avalanche teases screenshot of unannounced game

Is this our first look at next-gen Just Cause 3?

Avalanche Studios boss Christofer Sundberg has shared a teaser screenshot of an unannounced game on his personal Twitter account.

“We’re making awesome games at #avalanchestudios! This year will be awesome! #yearoftheavalanche,” said Sundberg.

Internet forum goers are suggesting the game to be either Just Cause 3 (essentially confirmed in development; Sundberg’s resume says he is working on an “unannounced sandbox action game” / “new installment in a very well-known game series” for Square Enix due out on “next generation platforms” in “June 2015”) or the studio’s Mad Max title (oft-rumored to be their “first license game”).

Back in November, Sundberg suggested the studio has completed its current generation game development, and has moved on to next-gen.
