Get it three days early if you pre-order at GameStop.

Consumers who pre-order Gears of War: Judgment at GameStop will receive three-day early access to a demo of the game’s multiplayer OverRun mode on March 15, Microsoft has announced.

OverRun is Judgment‘s new class-based, objective-oriented competitive mode, where two teams of five players can alternate between playing as Locusts and COG soldiers.

The same demo will go live for all Xbox LIVE Gold Members on March 19, the same day the game launches in North America.

Experience points earned in the pre-launch multiplayer will carry over into the final game when it launches on March 19 in North America and On March 25 in Europe.

Additionally, fans who pre-order from GameStop will also receive the following multiplayer bonuses:

  • “Young Marcus” character skin – Decorated war hero Marcus Fenix is the legendary leader of Delta Squad, a small group of COG soldiers responsible for saving mankind from destruction at the hands of Locust and Lambent forces. This exclusive character skin takes Marcus back in time, six weeks after the end of the Pendulum Wars, and during the chaos of Emergence Day – a time before he was hardened by his long imprisonment.
  • Lambent weapon skin – This exclusive weapon skin lets you show off your grub-slaying exploits and customize select weapons with the emulsion of your fallen Lambent foes.
  • Classic Hammerburst – A fearsome and effective weapon that served as the standard-issue assault rifle of the Locust Army. (Available at any retailer.)

Thanks, Major Nelson.

No Hype for it that’s why?

      • syaznifaiq

yeah.. and it didn’t surprised me actually

        • Prodigy-X

I’m surprised. I thought Microsoft and Epic would have tried to push the game.

I’m pretty sure Microsoft thinks Gears of War will sell on the name alone. Yet I don’t really see anyone get excited for this game except hardcore Gears fans.

              cant agree more

            • Prodigy-X

That’s what I’m saying but I thought they would start the Marketing for the game by now like what we saw with that 30 sec GOW Ascension trailer.

VgChartz is not even showing them in the top 10 for pre orders. God Of War Ascension is like #6 or #5 on the pre order chart but then again VgChartz could be wrong.
