PC-based PlayStation Store currently live in Europe.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is testing a new web version of its PlayStation Store. (Or, the Sony Entertainment Network Store.)

Available here, the store is currently only live in some European countries. A U.S. or Canadian store is still unavailable.

When reached for comment by Joystiq, a Sony UK rep said, “We are testing a new web store, which we look forward to announcing and launching to the PlayStation/Sony community shortly.”

    This is just brilliant.

  • that actually lookz pretty good.

About damn time they brought this back. I hope it’s on par with the Xbox store’s functionality.

  • I actually like this better than the new store layout on the PS3. >->

another new PS Store is coming up? Sweet XD

This is going to be necessary after what they did to the PS3 storefront. Trying to buy anything that isn’t “new” or “hot” is un-BEAR-able.

I srsly hope this allows my to buy stuff from other regions with my Debit card…..its annoying buying PSN cards all the time….

If Nintendo figured to let gamer’s do this, on their friggin’ region-locked consoles, then yeah; Sony needs to get on this, like, 4 years ago.

      • Kobracon

Sony actually DID allow it. Then after one fine update. They decided to lock it to each region. Pain in the arse, I’ll tell you that…

  • Why is it always Europe that gets the stuff first?
