Why can’t we have this?!!!! Why?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It looks amazing!

  • Wait… Why are we addressing Kohaku as “Amber” anyway? I didn’t play Tales of Hearts, so I’d appreciate someone enlightening me on this matter. I checked the Tales wiki and it just says that she is addressed as “Kohaku Hearts” in Japan, but… We never got this game in North America, right?

So, why does she have a different name she goes by? It’s so confusing, lol.

In the English version of Graces F they had collectible items for past Tales characters and Kohaku and Hisui’s names were translated as Amber and Jadeite for some reason.

      • That’s odd… Considering we wouldn’t be under any copyright violation since we never got Melty Blood, lol. Well, that’s what Kohaku and Hisui reminded me of anyway :P

        • Hearing Kohaku and Hisui reminds me of Tsukihime/Melty Blood, too.

Don’t know why they decided to literally translate a person’s name.

Well, considering all the characters names are from stones: i.e. meteorite, chalcedony, etc. etc. It would be natural to have a western perspective on ‘stone names’ for the siblings, so the (english speaking) player would easily get these references.

Kohaku means Amber in Japan. And similarly, Hisui means Jade. Translation was actually a natural step if you think about it. ^^

      • I don’t think it was natural at all, honestly. Her name clearly says: Ko-ha-ku

What would have been a “natural” step is to have simply translated it as such.

im impressed with all of the refinements they did!

  • I’d really like this to come to the west. I plan on buying a Vita soon, and this would be a sure thing purchase for me.

    • To me, there are none solid RPG title on Vita so far, aside from those ports. Therefore I really look forward for this title. In the meantime, I suppose that I will enjoy Persona 4: Golden next week.
