I’m actually getting PS Plus just because I have a Vita.

Having a Vita on top of the PS3 I own just made the jump worthwhile.

I’m away from my PS3 most of the year, but the Vita I have with me all the time now. $5 to have access to Uncharted and Wipeout and Gravity Rush which is around $100 value bought alone?

Yea, I think PS Plus is the best subscription service to hit gaming, bar none.

Good job Sony. Keep it up.

  • I’ve been stoked for PS Plus on Vita for a while. Really great update Sony, keep em coming!

The Vita’s browser is so much faster now with this update.

Already putting that Cloud Storage to good use too!

Someone elaborate on PC folder > Vita…

I believe it means that if you transfer photos/music/video they won’t just be a massive list, but will still be in folders if you transfer those folders to the vita.

The new browser isn’t doing too badly so far.

On the one hand, it seems to handle frames a lot better; ebuddy (in either standard or mobile edition) is still not quite perfect, but other sites with discrete frames are handled a lot more cleanly now than with the older editions of the browser.

On the other hand, the Siliconera site seems to go into some sort of loop, for some reason; it tries to jump to some sort of mobile version, then back to the full one, and repeats ad infinitum. Maybe there’s some sort of way to bypass that issue?

(Gematsu seems to show up just fine, however.)

One thing I had to try and adjust to with the email app is that it doesn’t group correspondences together; each inbound email is shown separately, and each reply is also shown separately elsewhere. (Which is the way things were before I got used to Gmail; but it would be something worth adding in a future system software update.)

    • I am having the exact same situation with Siliconera, its very annoying! on the other hand the other sites I frequent run smoothly and they even look more sharp and beautiful now!

The new firmware V2.00 now allows user to switch to web browser while the game is running! multitasking FTW!

    • Yeah! I was also surprised to see they did not included this feature on the list, because it rocks!

  • There’s something else not mentioned in the official list which I’m really grateful for – the ability to set custom resolutions in PS1 games! This is a godsend for us PAL gamers at least because we can get rid of the PAL borders and play in real fullscreen – the Final Fantasies in particular seem to be a massive improvement as a result. I’m very happy about this one!
