New bundle includes Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.

Nintendo has announced a price drop for its 2006-launched Wii console ahead of the 2012 holiday season. Beginning October 28, the console will be available for $130 in a new bundle, including a black Wii console, Wii Remote Plus, and Nunchuck, and both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort on a single game disc. It will replace the current black bundle that comes with New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

“Nearly six years after it launched, people are still attracted to the pure, inclusive fun of the Wii console,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “A new suggested retail price and the inclusion of two great games make it an easy choice for families looking for a great value this holiday season.”

Nintendo’s next generation console, Wii U, will launch on November 18.

If i only had more time i would have bought the WIi right now but i hardly have time for “one” console =  = i have some games that are still sealed despite the fact that i have like 80 games already beated on my shelf. (by 80 i mean only from this gen obviously)

I don’t really think anyone in this world has all consolse and enjoys the most out of the games simply because there wouldn’t be enough time, all people can do nowdays is rush the games story and never touch the game again if they are willing to go for all 3 consolse.

I mean with the simple fact that games like Disgaea 3-4, Star Ocean 4, Skyrim, Olivion, Tales of Graces F and etc can consume hundreds of hours each leaving you with over one thousand hours just from 4-5 games.

So 4-5 games take about 6 weeks to fully enjoy, that’s over 1 month so unless you do nothing else in your life other than “Just” play games then you might be able to enjoy most games out on most platforms.

I know this has been long random post that nobody may give a crap about xD but it’s just the real truth, you just can’t keep buying all the consoles and games for you will end up rushing and not fully enjoying the games.

TL;DR: Sticking with one console, handheld or PC is the best way to go, unless you are willing to buy a new console just for 3-5 games.

    • Relax lol you don’t have to buy everything just because its there. Just buy one game that you like, beat it and than buy another one. Why would you buy a game that you wont use until you are gonna play it ??

No im not like that, there are other reasons why one has “sealed games” on the shelf. Im not going to name like 10 reasons but i thought you already knew, well here is a few:

I bought Duke Nukem new for about 7 dollars, i shit you not, i bought Yakuza dead souls for 9 bucks new both game sealed, sometimes you have a big sale if you miss it then the price for games goes up.

Also i made it sound like im buying some games when i didn’t even finish the one im currently playing, well i don’t always have time to finish one game but when another comes out, let’s say “my fav game” i usually get the day 1 release, as mostly i love limited or collectors editions and these get rare with time so i don’t wanna wait and like i already said “New release fan support”

Also 2 gens before this one i missed out on many games due to the fact that i bought just one game every 2-3 months, the thing is that if you wait and hold and don’t buy some of your fav games on release date, you put them on hold then more games come out and you end up not getting the ones on hold sometimes and it just grows from there.

TL;DR: I am relaxed xD I’m just a hardcore gamer that playes every genre and there is no time to wait sometimes as i stated above :3

You and me both. Especially that 2 gens thing. PS2 games is something I’m really trying to catch up on.

          • zakou

Yeah but sometimes it’s hard to catch up on, i mean Xenosaga games, Grandia 4, some tales of and etc. these didn’t even come out in Europe so yeah now they cost like 60-80 bucks each new, even if i had Region free or US PS2 i’d still have to pay alot of money for the games.

How i wish i bought them ealier “And having them sealed on my shelf due to not having US PS2” just because you could get them new for like 10-20 bucks back then -_-

Sometimes you wish you had sealed games sitting on your shelf lol.
