Sony will launch a downloadable beta for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale tomorrow, it has announced.
PlayStation 3 owners will be able to access the beta free of charge via a PlayStation Plus membership. PlayStation Vita, on the other hand, will allow access to all PlayStation Network subscribers.
The beta will support cross-play, enabling PlayStation 3 and PS Vita owners to go PlayStation character against PlayStation character in online matches.
Characters in the beta include: Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, PaRappa, and Fat Princess. Two stages, Metropolis and Hades, will be playable across two modes, four-player online tournaments and 2 vs. 2 online tournaments.
The beta will end on October 30.
In other news, Sony has shared the final set of additional costumes unlocked for consumers who pre-order the upcoming fighter.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is due for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on November 20. Consumers who purchase the PlayStation 3 version will get the PS Vita version at no additional cost.
