VanillaWare action RPG comes to Sony's handheld.

Marvelous AQL has sent out the first screenshots of Oboro Muramasa for PS Vita.

The game, a “gorgeous Japanese style picture scroll action RPG,” initially launched for Wii in 2009. The PlayStation Vita port will feature download content not available in the Wii version, which follows four new characters through four short scenarios.

The game is due out in Japan on March 28. View the screenshots at the gallery.

whatever happened to the Dragon’s Crown?

  • I don’t know how this looks like compared to Wii version because I never played it but it looks great here. I hope this game will be localized like its Wii version.

It looks about the same. Slightly sharper, though I don’t know if it’s because it’s in HD or if it’s just the reduction in screen size (I played it on a 20+” SDTV). I already have this for the WII, so I’m not sold on this Vita release yet. Need more information about the DLC and extras first.
