Seeing Falcom games having mediocre sales makes me sad. Few developers have such a great track record.

    • MosquitoLemon

Err.. isn’t 21K pretty good for a Vita title?

      • FaithlessMr

It definitely is, but one can’t help but compare these sales with that of the game when it released on the psp.

Granted, this was a re-release which also means lots of people in Japan already had the game, played it and didn’t feel like paying for it again, but still…it’s hard not to think about it.

        • MosquitoLemon

It was also released in 2010, almost the prime of the PSP’s life. It’s the same for the 3DS –  just look at the new Wagamama Fashion. The original DS version shattered sales records in its first month. Now the long awaited sequel comes out and it doesn’t look like it’ll make 800K in its first year.

          • FaithlessMr

Sure, I totally understand that. But again, the Vita is sadly underperfoming in Japan, and I think we all kinda want to see the system do the best it can. I’m not saying these sales numbers are bad, given the context, but we’re all waiting for the Vita to start pumping some big numbers, at the very least, domestically, so that more and more publishers start working on games for the system.

    • Hidayat246

remember how long Legend of heros : First Chapter take 200k unit?????????
over 2 year and falcom still happy about that

21k unit is good….. for falcom

but for kadokawa i dont know

  • windrincar

Even otaku games are declining in its own country…

  • MrKappa

Little Battlers selling 70k in a week is a bit surprising but the Vita version selling like crap isn’t. I can’t even fathom how Sony is making money on the Vita right now.

  • LordKaiser

So this will be Level-5 anouncement… The localization of this vita game… Meh!

    • Hidayat246

Level 5 don’t love sony platform
Level 5 only love with nintendo platform

      • KingOptimusOrigins111

Um they love both companies don’t know where you got that idea from.

        • YangTerlupakan

tell me why level 5 port LBX to 3DS???????
level 5 know LBX cant sucess in PSP/VITA so level 5 porting LBX to 3DS, that why LBX W sales is low because people believe LBX W will be come to 3DS

is that not enough, look NI NO KUNI PS3 sales or WKC bad history, is tell u why i think level 5 is DOESNT LIKE SONY SO MUCH

          • KingOptimusOrigins111

OMG, the PS Vita just released, its not even a year and people like you are putting it down. Second of all Ni No Kuni is being releases under Namco. America and Europe has even gotten the chance to pick it up so why are you making the assumption it will fail when it hasn’t even released for Europe and America yet. Level 5 likes both Nintendo and Sony the reason WKC didn’t do to well because it too much turn based Japanese so of course it not going to do well in Europe or America. By the looks of it LBX did good for PSP/PS Vita on this chart to be in the top 10 and no LBX W will not be getting ported to 3DS.

            • YangTerlupakan

i am not say PS vita is dead!!!!!

u say that because this thing :
“……..level 5 know LBX cant sucess in PSP/VITA so level 5 porting LBX to 3DS,
that why LBX W sales is low because people believe LBX W will be come to

no i am not SAY PS VITA IS DEAD, what i mean is level 5 dont trust VITA at this time, level 5 not ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that my opinion when i first hear level 5 ported LBX to 3DS, if wrong i am sory for u!!!!!!
NOBODY IS PERFECT, that why i join this forum!!!!!!!!

ok i am sory about ninokuni, the sales what i mean is just from japan not international, when ninokuni beating by COD-MW3
and WKC opinion is from my fren who really deep with that game.

              • KingOptimusOrigins111

I didn’t say you said it was dead I said even people like you are putting it down meaning that you don’t seem to understand it needs games either way whether its third party or first party it needs games to sale either way, so I wasn’t saying you said it was dead again.

“level 5 know LBX cant sucess in PSP/VITA so level 5 porting LBX to 3DS,”

That doesn’t make sense 3DS has The Little Battlers: Explosive Boost Bursts. Ninokuni getting beat by MW3 is kind of understandable. COD is a big game and COD gets publish by Square Enix over there and you know how Japanese gamers love Square Enix no matter what.

  • FaithlessMr

Well, this week was rather uneventful when it comes to new releases, but it’s nice to actually see how many of last week big hitters held up.

That being said…whoa, Toki to Towa sure fell down. It didn’t do very well in it’s opening week, but to know it barely charted at 20 this week feels really weird. I somehow expected the game to be more sucessful than it actually was.

Bravely Default and Project x Zone actually held up as expected, denoting the usual slump that happens with RPGs in Japan after the initial peak, but still managed to hold out better than Toki to Towa.

Well if anything I’m pleasently surprised to see how Bravely Default is holding out. It’s turning out to be quite a hit, knowing it’s not attached to the FF brand name and whatnot.

  • Kobracon

Little Battlers! Dammit I want that so much T_T

  • KingOptimusOrigins111

PS Vita getting up their. PS3 will eventually knock the 3DS out this fall.

  • PrinceHeir

The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Evolution!!!!

glad to see Project X Zone is still hanging out :)

Toki to Towa dropping so quickly :O
