Brand name goes a long way. Dragon Quest X should fall off the top 20 next week I’m guessing.

I’m very looking forward to see how the big trio of games released/to be released in Japan will perform next week: Toki to Towa, Bravely Default, Project X Zone.

    •  Toki 50K, Bravely 50-70K, Project x Zone up to 100K, i think

I’d say Toki and Bravely have much more potential to sell than Project X Zone has. I’d seriously think this will be a race between toki and bravely, while Project X Zone will sit confortably on the third place position.

        • Based on Amazon perfomance, Toki to Towa selling pretty bad and BD is #1. But as reported on hachimaki, all 3 games sold 50% of their first shipments in 1st day.

PxZ has a lot of well known characters so I thought it going to to better than BD.
Maybe Resident Evil 6 will take the top spot again :D

Oh, RE6 racing for the top spot again? Hmm, haven’t thought about that, but I dunno, seems unlikely with three big names releasing this week. If it wasn’t for those three, then perhaps we’d be seeing it again up there, but I’d say it will drop a few spots and it will sit either in the third, fourth or fifth place this week.

Still surprised about what you said, regarding Toki. I just assumed that game had a lot of potential in the japanese market. Still, amazon does not represent all of the japanese game sales, so we’ll know in a couple of days ;)

Resident Evil gave the 360 a bump over PS2 this week. Impressive. :p

First I looked for Ys Celceta Sea of Trees. I couldn’t find it. Now I’m sad. What the hell Japan?

    • It was on there last week but it looks like it dropped off. Then again, we dont know how many people download them directly there so that could be a big difference as well. I mean, Id by an actual copy but who knows.

Good job RE6, can’t wait to get my copy. Good to see Summon Night 3 and Sol Trigger doing okay. Would have been nice if Sol Trigger sold a bit more.

    shame i don’t see Tekken Tag 2 and Persona 4 Arena :(

wonder how long DOA5 will last?? :P
